Acupressure
Acupressure
is an ancient healing art developed over 3000 years ago
in Asia. The fingers are used to press key points on the
surface of the skin stimulating the body's natural self-curative
abilities. The pressing of these points help relieve muscular
tension and promote the circulation of blood which stimulate
the healing properties of the body. The only difference
between acupuncture and acupressure is that acupuncture
employs needles, while acupressure uses the gentle but
firm pressure of hands on the same healing points. |
